Larry O. Dean was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. His numerous books include Frequently Asked Questions (forthcoming), Muse, Um (2022), Activities of Daily Living (2017), Brief Nudity (2013), Basic Cable Couplets (2012), Abbrev (2011), About the Author (2011), and I Am Spam (2004). He is an acclaimed songwriter whose most recent release is Good Grief (2015); he also fronts power trio The Injured Parties.
Chet Weise’s poems, stories, and essays have appeared in publications such as Copper Nickel, Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Peach Mag, and POETRY. A musician, too, he has recorded and toured worldwide with almost-famous groups The Quadrajets and Immortal Lee County Killers. Weise currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where he is the editor at Third Man Books.
Bronx-born son of Irish immigrants, writer and musician Terence Winch has published ten books of poems, the most recent being It Is As If Desire (Hanging Loose, 2024) and That Ship Has Sailed (Pitt Poetry Series, 2023). Winner of an American Book Award and the Columbia Book Award, he has also published two story collections and a novel. Co-founder of the original Celtic Thunder, the traditional Irish music group, he composed the band’s best-known song, “When New York Was Irish.” Winch’s work, for which he has received an NEA Poetry Fellowship and a Gertrude Stein Award for Innovative Writing, appears in more than 50 anthologies, and has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and The Writer’s Almanac.
