Larry O. Dean was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. His numerous books include Frequently Asked Questions (forthcoming), I Am Spam (2024), Muse, Um (2022), Activities of Daily Living (2017), Brief Nudity (2013), Basic Cable Couplets (2012), Abbrev (2011), and About the Author (2011). Also an acclaimed songwriter, his most recent release is Good Grief (2015); he also fronts power trio The Injured Parties.
Alyx Chandler (she/her) is a poet from the South, currently living in Chicago, Illinois, where she teaches undergraduate writing, as well as poetry to kids across the city as a Poet-in-Residence through the Chicago Poetry Center. Hollering Spell, her first collection of poetry, was a 2025 finalist in the New Women’s Voices Chapbook Competition for Finishing Line Press. Her second collection, Girl of the Year, is forthcoming from Red Bird Chapbooks in 2027. Darby Price is a poet and hybrid writer. Her debut collection, All the Lands We Inherit (Black Lawrence Press, 2025), was shortlisted for the John Pollard International Poetry Prize in 2026. Her work has appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, Cimarron Review, Zócalo Public Square, and RHINO, among others. Darby teaches at UC Irvine and makes her home in Long Beach, California.
