Larry O. Dean was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. His numerous books include Frequently Asked Questions (forthcoming), I Am Spam (2024), Muse, Um (2022), Activities of Daily Living (2017), Brief Nudity (2013), Basic Cable Couplets (2012), Abbrev (2011), and About the Author (2011). Also an acclaimed songwriter, his most recent release is Good Grief (2015); he also fronts power trio The Injured Parties.
Rochelle Hurt is the author of the poetry collections The J Girls: A Reality Show (Indiana University Press, 2022), which won the Blue Light Books Prize; In Which I Play the Runaway (Barrow Street, 2016), which won the Barrow Street Poetry Prize; and The Rusted City: A Novel in Poems (White Pine, 2014); as well as Book of Non (Broadstone Books, 2023), a collaboration with Carol Guess. Her work has been included in Poetry magazine and the Best New Poets anthology. She's been awarded prizes and fellowships from Arts & Letters, Poetry International, Vermont Studio Center, Jentel, and Yaddo. Hurt lives in Orlando and teaches in the MFA program at the University of Central Florida.
David Kirby teaches at Florida State University. His latest books are a poetry collection, The Winter Dance Party, Poems 1983-2023, and a textbook modestly entitled The Knowledge: Where Poems Come From and How to Write Them. He is currently on the editorial board of Alice James Books.
